THE PROCESS

Step 1 - Check us out

Become familiar with our cabinetry and check out our Cabinetry Brochure.

Step 2 - Assemble Info

Finishes: Select your paint color and/or wood finish. We have a carefully curated selection, and you may purchase samples to help make this decision.

Measurements: If your project is a new build, or you have the dimensioned plans of the space, those plans will be sufficient. If you do not already have dimensioned plans, take measurements using our How To Measure Guide.

Pictures: Take pictures of your space, don’t hold back! We want to see everything. Title each picture with what it is showing. (For example: “wall to left of sink”)

Appliances: Select your appliances and sink(s). Determine the appliances you would like in your kitchen. We will work with whatever you choose as long as detailed product specifications are sent to us.

Mechanical Locations: If remodeling, indicate whether you want to change appliance and/or sink locations in your space. Please confirm that these changes are possible with the person who will be doing the work.

Location: Send us your ship-to address so that we can plan accordingly.

Step 3 - Email Us

Fill out the Kempter Customs Cabinetry Submission Form for a complimentary rough estimate. The more thorough you are, the more accurate your estimate!

We will email you a price estimate for your cabinets once all of the information from the previous steps is received. Please note that this estimate can take some time, especially if we are backed up.

Step 4 - Design time!

If the estimate looks good and you’re ready to go ahead with the order, we will send an invoice to you for the cabinetry deposit. Deposits are 50% of the cabinetry rough estimate. This deposit is non-refundable.

We will then contact you and schedule a call for your initial consultation. The purpose of this call is to discuss needs and desires so we’re able to design the perfect space for you.

Step 5 - Approve your design

Upon completion, your kitchen designer will contact you to schedule another call where you review the design and you provide feedback.

Included in the cabinetry deposit is one revision. Think this through. Any additional revisions are $250 each and are non-refundable. These additional revisions will only begin after payment is received.

Step 6 - Confirm all measurements and review pricing

Once your design is approved, your designer will provide you with a final quote, numbered drawings, and a corresponding parts list.

This is important: Review your drawings, priced cabinetry and parts list.

Confirm all measurements are accurate. Physically lay down your measuring tape again using the cabinetry dimensions on your drawing. Work with another person, and check each other’s work! Cabinetry is non-returnable and non-refundable.

25% of your final pricing will be required on delivery of cabinets. The remaining 25% is due once the installation is complete.

Step 7 - Installation

We will provide an estimate for installation once the design is approved by you. If you are within 2 hours of our location in Deatsville, Alabama, delivery and installation will have no additional fee. For anywhere else in the continental United States, we will discuss up front (prior to your 50% deposit) our delivery and installation pricing.

Send us pictures of your beautiful kitchen! We would love to add them to our collection and show others your fabulous #kemptercabinets !
